A basic dental cleaning and exam can be the difference between having healthy teeth forever and having substantial dental problems down the road. Our Pinecrest dental office treats patients of all ages and strives to educate each patient about the importance of proper oral health.
At Greenstein Dental, we treat new patients much differently than your typical general dental office because we understand that every smile is unique.
Our New Patient Exam is broken up into two appointments. First, Dr. Greenstein will personally review your oral and overall health history, learn your oral health goals, take X-rays and photos, and then provide a dental examination. During your second visit, a dental hygienist will thoroughly polish your teeth and review all aspects of your mouth. The doctor will also evaluate your TMJ and provide an oral cancer screening.
We recommend that patients visit our office for dental cleanings every three to six months, depending on your oral health needs. Examinations performed at each hygiene appointment include oral cancer screenings, as well as checking for any changes to the teeth, jaw joints, and other hard tissue structures.
