Dentistry For Your Entire Family

Finding the right dentist to handle your family’s dental care can be a challenge. Our Pinecrest dental office provides comprehensive family dental services for your entire family, and we take pride in serving the many nationalities that make up our beautiful community! Much like Miami, our dental staff is made up of dedicated dental professionals from all across the world and a variety of ethnicities.

At Greenstein Dental, we provide aggressive preventive treatment for children and adults. Dr. Greenstein works with your children to educate them about their oral health and will make their dental experience positive and enjoyable. After their cleaning and exam, your kids can check “Mr. Thirsty” and take home a free toothbrush!

We provide dental sealants and fluoride treatments to help your children keep their teeth healthy for their entire lives. With regular visits to our office, Dr. Greenstein can better monitor the development of your children’s teeth. If your children have bite problems, crooked teeth, or impacted teeth, Dr. Greenstein can offer orthodontics that will give them a gorgeous smile for the rest of their lives. When we can start your children’s dentistry off on a positive note, your kids are more likely to practice good oral hygiene for the rest of their lives.

Whether you’re an adult patient or younger patient, Dr. Greenstein works to learn your smile goals and uses education to help you improve your oral and overall health. We take a personal interest in each of our patients and never push or try to sell you into treatment.

Our normal new patient exams are broken into two appointments, one of which is an opportunity for us to review the state of your mouth and to make sure you’re a great fit for our treatment. The second appointment gives us plenty of time to get to work on your smile and give you the results of our findings from the first visit.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Fillings are one of the most fundamental aspects of dentistry. A filling restores a tooth that has a cavity and strengthens the structure of the tooth for years to come.

We place fillings under local anesthesia and use a composite resin material that blends in with and bonds to your tooth. Metal fillings, which are stronger, are no longer the norm in dentistry because the material is not bonded to your teeth and is not aesthetically pleasing. Silver fillings also are known to contain toxic mercury, though the levels are not believed to be harmful to people.

Resin fillings are routinely placed to repair cavities in both the permanent and baby teeth. Also called “bonding,” these cosmetic materials replaced the dark, metal amalgams (silver and mercury) in the early 1990s. Resin is “bonded” to both enamel and dentin with special dental adhesives and can be used on front and back teeth routinely. In some cases, this filling material serves as an affordable alternative to porcelain for closing spaces between teeth or repairing a chipped portion of a front tooth.

Highly esthetic and versatile, resin fillings afford teeth a significant structural advantage. At Greenstein Dental, we employ biomimetic techniques to restore your tooth back to its original strength – before the cavity weakened the tooth!

In addition to providing preventive care and treating your cavities, Dr. Greenstein can handle your root canals, crown restorations, and dental implants, as well as craft beautiful dentures and bridges. Patients who need restoration work or even full-mouth reconstructions can take comfort knowing that Dr. Greenstein can handle your care from start to finish.

We don’t ask our patients to travel all across town for the dental treatments. We want to handle your care in its entirety.
