Transform Your Smile With Cosmetic Dentistry
Do you have chipped, cracked, or damaged teeth that are ruining your smile and leaving you feeling self-conscious or insecure? Our Pinecrest dental office offers cosmetic dentistry that can completely transform your smile.
Most of us would like to change at least one aspect of our smile. Maybe your smile has started to fade with age, or maybe you’ve wanted to fix that chipped tooth for years. At Greenstein Dental, we provide safe and minimally invasive treatments that will leave you with a beautiful and confident smile for years to come.
One of the biggest advantages that I have found for my patients is to be able to avoid repetitively doing dentistry. If we can set the stage, get that foundation proper, find out where your bite is functioning then I can help you systematically go through and restore, fix, repair whatever you need so that it is a much more permanent solution. Barring any trauma or change to your medical history and hopefully those things don’t happen, why can’t the teeth last, they should, they can, that’s the beauty of this kind of technology.
We offer teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, dental implants, and Invisalign. There’s no shame in seeking out treatments that will make your smile pop, and don’t let someone tell you cosmetic dentistry is vain. In fact, treatments like porcelain veneers are great options for patients who have weak or damaged enamel.
Take a quick look at some of our cosmetic dentistry options:
Teeth Whitening – At Greenstein Dental, we offer in-office and at-home teeth whitening treatments that can brighten your smile up to eight shades. Our whitening treatments can remove even the heaviest stains, including tetracycline stains.
Our whitening treatments are applied in a special mouthpiece designed to reach every cover of your teeth. Over-the-counter whitening products or strips are nowhere near as predictable or efficient as our bleaching treatments. We recommend that you consult our office before trying over-the-counter whitening because overuse or misuse can actually damage your gums and enamel. Our professional whitening can sometime irritate your gums, so we ask our whitening patients to be free of tooth decay and gum disease.
Porcelain Veneers – Having chipped, cracked or faded teeth can be distracting and damaging to your smile. Even worse, chips, cracks, or worn enamel actually weaken your tooth and put it a higher risk of breaking. For patients who are struggling with poor enamel or teeth that are chipped, cracked, or broken, porcelain veneers can repair your smile.
Our porcelain veneers are durable, last years, and blend in with your natural smile. To place veneers, we first remove a portion of the enamel. Then, we take impressions and place temporary veneers. We’ll then place your permanent veneers during your next visit with us. Dr. Greenstein uses minimally invasive techniques to prepare your tooth for veneers.
Invisalign – Also considered an orthodontic solution, Invisalign is the leading cosmetic solution for teens and adults who want to correct crooked teeth. This solution uses a series of clear aligners to move your teeth into the correct position. The best part about the treatment is that it’s virtually invisible, removable, and it does not require you to wear uncomfortable brackets or metal wires. We ask patients to wear their Invisalign trays for at least 22 hours a day, only removing the aligners for eating and cleaning.
You’ll receive new aligners about once every two weeks, and you’ll experience less sensitivity than you would have with metal braces. With Invisalign, you don’t have to be embarrassed about your treatment, and you can remove the aligners for special occasions.
Invisalign can correct mildly crooked teeth, but it’s typically not the best solution for correcting bite problems. As part of his gneuromuscular dentistry, Dr. Greenstein offers orthodontics to fix overbites, underbites, and crossbites. If you have serious bite issues, you are probably a better candidate for our traditional braces.
